Shakespeare in the Arb returns for its 22nd season with the beloved comedy, As You Like It. Following some royal turmoil Rosalind and her friends flee into the woods and discover a cast of colorful, humorous characters as adventures unfold and everyone tries to find a place to call home. The young lover Orlando is thrilled he's found a mysterious tutor in the woods who can teach him the way to win Rosalind's heart while also looking suspiciously like Rosalind in a costume..?
Shakespeare in the Arb is a 3 hour outdoor walking performance that takes place within Nichols Arboretum. All tickets are general admission lawn style seating. Please bring a chair or a blanket. Audience members should be prepared for weather conditions, periods of sitting, standing and up to 2 miles of walking to various locations in the Arboretum. All tickets are held at Will Call, Nichols Arboretum Visitor Center, 1610 Washington Heights. Ticket pick up is 5:00pm-6:00pm with showtime promptly at 6:30pm.
