Join us for The Arc of Activism: Bridging Intergenerational Legacies, a powerful conversation featuring Angela Davis and Ta-Nehisi Coates. This cross-campus collaboration of student governments explores the evolution of activism through the lens of two iconic voices—Davis, a legendary activist and scholar from the Civil Rights Movement, and Coates, an acclaimed writer and thinker shaping contemporary dialogues on race and justice. Together, they will reflect on the struggles and triumphs of their respective eras, offering insights into how we can bridge legacies across generations to build a more equitable future. This event is an opportunity to connect past and present movements, fostering dialogue and inspiration for the next generation of changemakers.
Upon entry into Rackham Auditorium, all ticket holders will be required to pass through magnetometers, or mags, and be subjected to a search. Please leave all prohibited items at home to allow for easier ingress into the venue.
